This experimental narrative is a live action remix-reboot of my 2023 text/audio piece There & Back – with a very different ending.
An escape from the zoo is the first of a series of leaps into the unknown. Assembled from iPhone footage, field recordings, YouTube clips, pop music, and a conversation between the artist and his friend, the film is a celebration of companionship, liberation and great music.
